Bell Bottom Bar

Lainey Wilson

Lainey Wilson is one of country music's biggest singer-songwriters in recent history. But before we get into her recent history, let's take it back to her origin. Lainey Wilson is originally from Baskin, Louisiana, and grew up around country music. Her father, Brian Wilson, loved to play the guitar at supper. Playing hits from Buck Owens and Glen Campbell, Lainey fell in love with the art. Her Idol was none other than Miss Country Music herself, Dolly Parton. Later, Lainey wrote a song about Dolly called "What Would Dolly Do?" With great music comes great fashion, and Lainey is iconic for her bell-bottoms. I mean, her bar is named "Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottom Bar." Lainey gained this fashion sense from a young age, and it was so severe that her mother had to take them off of her just to wash them!

Once Lainey grew a little older, it was time for her to spread her wings. Wilson decided to move to Nashville to pursue her dream of becoming a country artist. The only problem was that her style was not very ordinary or accepted at the time. Because of this, she only played in smaller venues and occasionally on Broadway. This was not the end for her however, she decided to join the hit series Yellowstone and Taylor Sheridan. This project was more for her enjoyment, but it also helped make a name for herself in the country industry. She appeared in a few episodes, but the main episode that made her famous was the season 5 premiere, "One Hundred Years is Nothing." In this episode, she played "Abby" and was a smaller singer for a festival that the ranch hosted. This allowed her to showcase her songs and also her acting for the show. Since the show, she gained the traction she needed from record companies and eventually signed with BBR Music Group.

Since signing with her record label, Lainey Wilson has released many hits like "Watermelon Moonshine and Heart Like a Truck." Wilson has won nine CMA awards since coming to fame in 2019, including the highly coveted "Entertainer of the Year." Since then, Lainey Wilson partnered up with TC Groups to open a bar on Broadway in 2024.

Bell Bottom Bar

The Bell Bottom Bar was opened up on May 31st, 2024. On the day of the Grand Opening, Lainey Wilson had an 8 hour meet and greet with fans. Later on, she went to the rooftop of the bar and played a show that many will never forget. When guests first walked into the bar, they could see that it was a country western theme with some of Lainey's Louisiana roots showing in the artwork. The bar itself is three stories with two stages and four bars. On the first floor, there is a mainstage with seating right in front that is moved at night to make a dance floor. The cool thing about he bar is the centerpiece, a diamond bell-bottom chandelier above the dance floor. Going up to the second floor, there is more seating, and it is a wrap around balcony overlooking the first floor, so guests can see the stage from above. Moving up to the third and rooftop floor, there is another stage under a roof with a dance floor for guests.

Moving on to the menu, it also pays homage to her home, featuring many Cajun style meals. From burgers to pastas to oysters, Lainey's favorite Louisiana meals are all on the menu! The Bell Bottom Bar also features some signature cocktails. Some of which include: the Bayou Bullet, Bourbon Gras, and one paying respect to Yellowstone, the Yellowstone Spritz. All of these showcase some of the finest quality Bourbon, Vodka, and Tequila on Broadway, but with that comes a hefty price of 18-20 dollars per drink. If you do not want to spend that much money on a drink, there are canned and draft beers and ciders available for less money.

What to Expect

When you go to Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottom Bar, you can expect a great time, but in a different sense. The music that is typically played at the bar is more of a vibe rather than an all-out party all the time. The up-and-comers that are showcased at the bar have their own styles, and that is one thing Lainey wanted to make a point of. The thing with Nashville is that when people end up on Broadway, they tend to lose their style and adapt the Nashville style. The singers who go to Lainey's bar will play slower songs that have a much deeper meaning to them. However, there are some artists that have popped by, like Dan and Shay or Hardy, plus most of Lainey's friends. With this in mind, since the bar is so young, you can expect it to have major guests during big weekends like CMA Fest. But out of all the bars in Nashville, this is the one you go to for a memorable time and a great slow dance with your partner.
